Educated at Ampleforth College, Fr Guy read History at Oxford University before entering St John’s Seminary, Wonersh, to study for the priesthood. On returning home he was parish priest at Sacred Heart & St Teresa of the Child Jesus, Paignton until his appointment as Rector of the School of the Annunciation.
Fr Guy’s passion for preaching and handing on the fullness of the Church’s teaching led him to establish the website St Paul Repository, with Fr Robbie Low. In response to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s call for 2012 to be observed as a ‘Year of Faith’ Fr Guy commenced an exciting project of recording a podcast commentary on the whole of the Catechism of the Catholic Church which can be listened to at St Paul Repository: http://stpaulrepository.com/
His research on Blessed John Henry Newman, Giovanni Perrone & the Consensus Fidelium is currently in preparation for publication.
